The wound
An Aquilaria tree is injured by weather, insects or time, and its heartwood is exposed.

The resin
To heal, the tree floods its wood with a dark, fragrant resin over many years.

The oil
The resinated wood is aged and slowly distilled into dehn al oud.

We balance it with rose, musk and amber so it wears beautifully to the last trace.
